Every great project begins with a strong foundation. For me, building Longhorn Automation was about laying a foundation for two things I care about deeply: the future of our industry and the future of my family.

Before launching this company, I spent years working in electrical and automation systems. Over time, I noticed a consistent gap in the market. Too often, projects suffered from temporary fixes, rigid thinking, or overly complex designs that didn't serve the client's long-term goals. I knew the industry needed something better—intuitive, reliable, and truly meaningful engineering solutions built to last.

At the exact same time, I was thinking about my own legacy. As a parent, my greatest responsibility is to create a secure, stable future for my kids. I wanted to show them what it looks like to build something from the ground up with integrity, hard work, and a commitment to excellence.
